Tax Specialist job In House Tax Corporation Tax Indirect Tax UK IRE ACA ACCA ATT CTA Hybrid and Flexible

Your new company 
Working for one of our top clients, this is a leading pharmaceutical business heavily invested in healthcare communities across the globe. A new opportunity has become available to join their specialist tax team working on a range of taxes and interesting projects. 2 days a week in the office - excellent mixed tax role.

Your new role 
You will:

Support the management of the direct and indirect tax compliance processes (namely corporation tax, VAT, plastics tax), which are undertaken by the in-house tax team, the accounting shared services centre and/or outsourced to external tax advisers, ensuring all deadlines are adhered to.  Support the oversight of the monthly group and annual statutory accounts reporting processes as they relate to tax, which are undertaken by the accounting shared services centre, ensuring all deadlines are adhered to Assist the team dealing with any tax enquiries or queries from HMRC Support the team to provide tax guidance, advice and support across all taxes to the business and wider organisation.  Annual PSA preparation and submission (assisted by an external provider) Assist on various ad-hoc tasks, projects and transactions, including tax governance-related issues Support the implementation of global tax policies, including transfer pricing 


What you'll need to succeed 
You will be a qualified tax professional, ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA qualified or equivalent. You may already have experience working within an in-house tax team or are looking for a first move from the chartered profession. You will have experience with UK corporation tax. Further knowledge of Transfer Pricing, UK R&D and Irish taxes would be an advantage, but will all be trained once in the role. 

What you'll get in return 
You will receive a salary dependent on experience of up to £55,000, 10% bonus and a benefits package. My client has a hybrid working policy with 2 days in the office as well as flexible working options available.
