Role Overview

TheSenior Vice President (SVP), Manufacturing Operationswill lead ECARX’s global manufacturing strategy. This executive will be instrumental in designing, building, and scaling the company’s International Business Unit (IBU) manufacturing, supply chain, and quality operations over the next 12–24 months.

Reporting directly to the senior executive leadership, the SVP will:

  • Lead ECARX’s global manufacturing operations and supply chain strategy.
  • Drive innovation through AI, next-gen manufacturing technologies (e.g., deep AI), and strategic execution.
  • Lay the foundation for a best-in-class global manufacturing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Short-Term Deliverables:

  • Set Up & Scale Contract Manufacturing:

Launch and scale contract manufacturing operations across Brazil, India, Europe, and Malaysia, aligned with volume goals and automotive-grade standards.

  • Build a Stable Supply Chain & Quality Processes:

Develop robust, end-to-end supply chain solutions that meet international quality standards (ISO/TS, AIAG PPAP).

  • Cultivate Strong Partner Relationships:

Build trusted, scalable relationships with contract manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring continuous improvement, on-time delivery, and cost-effectiveness.

Long-Term Responsibilities:

  • Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain Leadership:

Oversee ECARX’s end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain operations, ensuring alignment across products and regions.

  • Next-Generation Manufacturing Innovation:

Champion a smart, connected supply chain leveraging AI, digital manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 innovations.

Candidate Profile

Key Qualifications:

  • Automotive Electronics Expertise:

15+ years in automotive manufacturing or related fields, with a strong track record in operations, quality, systems, and cost management.

  • Forward-Thinking Technologist:

Knowledge of next-gen manufacturing innovation, including AI and data-driven decision-making.

  • Inspirational & Team Builder:

Proven success in leading large, complex teams and executing high-impact initiatives across regions.

  • Global Perspective:

Experience across diverse regions and managing cross-border operations and compliance.

  • Strategic & Results-Oriented:

Ability to translate vision into strategy and drive performance across cost, quality, and time.

Location & Travel

  • Location: Initially London, with flexibility to relocate to Singapore or other key regions.
  • Travel: Extensive international travel is expected to oversee and support global operations.
