Senior Vice President, Managing Director, Evidence Synthesis Decision Modeling

Do you possess business acumen, knowledge of business financials, and a proven track record of success? Do you have a stellar reputation in the market demonstrated by client base, industry-leading publications, and thought leadership? If so, we want to talk to you! We are growing and seeking a Senior Vice President, Managing Director to lead our ESDM HEOR team.
Position Summary:
The Senior Vice President, Managing Director, Capability Lead is part of the Evidence Solutions leadership team, reporting directly to the Head of Evidence Solutions. Responsible for developing the Evidence Synthesis Decision Modeling capability, building and creating new business, cultivating client relationships, and identifying growth opportunities. Manages team revenue and performance, fostering a healthy team culture, and collaborating across departments.
We are looking for someone who:
Demonstrates expert understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs, and health technology assessment, evidenced by relevant publications
Has experience overseeing evidence synthesis and economic model development, supporting studies like utility modeling and expert elicitation
Understands the strengths and limitations of various research approaches and proposes suitable applications
Can explain study rationale, methods, and results clearly to teams, clients, and stakeholders
Aligns business and team development goals, proactively seeking new business opportunities
Collaborates across business units on strategy and execution
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Leading multiple projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and financial performance
Developing recommendations, communicating risks and opportunities, and making final decisions
Reviewing and approving deliverables such as protocols, analysis plans, models, and reports
Leading team development, mentoring, and fostering a culture of feedback and career growth
Participating in resource planning and strategic initiatives
Developing and maintaining operational processes
Supporting effective communication within teams, resolving conflicts, and boosting morale
Providing methodological input and signing off on proposals and presentations
Building trusted client partnerships and driving new business
Identifying growth opportunities and hiring needs
Supporting research and sales activities, collaborating with other leaders on strategic planning
Managing resource allocation, staffing, and project delivery plans
Ensuring revenue targets are met and maximizing project profitability
Creating new business opportunities and maintaining long-term client relationships
Travel may be required for domestic and international assignments
Requisite experience and qualifications:
Postgraduate degree (MS, PharmD, MD, PhD) in health services research or related field
15+ years of high-impact HEOR publications, business development, consulting, or leadership experience
Experience leading research teams with both direct and indirect reports
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Broad technical knowledge of outcomes research, health economics, and HTA landscape
Proven ability to build and retain teams, improve efficiencies, and drive revenue
Strong industry and payer evidence requirements knowledge
Strategic and technical writing skills
Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
Leadership qualities: motivation, guidance, mentorship, and strategic thinking
Financial oversight capabilities and business acumen
Client relationship management and business development skills
