Location:Handforth (Hybrid - 2 days in office or at events)
Full-time | Permanent
Salary: 30-40k + benefits

Are you passionate about people, pets and building strong partnerships? We're looking for aSupplier Relationship Leadto join our dynamic Veterinary Procurement team at Pets at Home.

In this pivotal role, you'll manage and develop trusted relationships with key suppliers across pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, equipment, and more ensuring our veterinary practices have the products and services they need to thrive.

What you'll be doing

Leading supplier relationships and contract negotiations Managing end-to-end tender processes Supporting Joint Venture Partners with procurement and pricing Monitoring supplier performance and ensuring supply continuity Driving sustainability and contributing to our Annual Carbon Report Attending industry events and representing our brand Shaping best practices and continuous improvement in procurement

What we're looking for

Essential skills & experience

Background in procurement or commercial roles Confident negotiator with contract management experience Strong analytical and communication skills

Desirable

Clinical or veterinary practice knowledge Market insight and CSR awareness

Personal Attributes

Passionate about pets and people Positive, proactive, and solution-focused Comfortable working with senior stakeholders Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple priorities
