Join a brand-new start up expanding within the world of online pharmacy with excellent opportunities for expansion!

Compass Associates are delighted to be working in partnership with a start-up online pharmacy in their search for a Superintendent Pharmacy to oversee the operations on their site based in Darwen, Lancashire. The pharmacy, founded in 2023, provides a range of private prescription treatments including GLP-1s, allergy, asthma and weight loss. Founded on the principle of providing safe and affordable access to GLP-1s UK-wide, the pharmacy are expanding rapidly whilst committed to a steadfast degree of integrity.


The service is currently looking for a Superintendent Pharmacist to provide their pharmaceutical knowledge and experience in overseeing the service within the Pharmacy on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate will support the entire Pharmacy team, leading the clinical and dispensing teams across the site as well as handling customer escalations and prescribing medications as and when needed. They will be responsible for reviewing all standards and policies in the place, ensuring the pharmacy is in line with expectation all while providing an outstanding level of service.

Requirements

  • Degree in Pharmacy MPharm, BSc or BPharm
  • GPHC Registration
  • Independent Prescriber Qualification
  • 3+ years' experience in Community Pharmacy
  • Experience with GLP-1s preferred but not essential.
  • Passion for high quality care
  • Motivated individual
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • High sense of personal responsibility


Location

This role is located in Darwen - commutable from Liverpool, Manchester, Blackburn, Preston and Bolton.
