Position:Specialist Biomedical Scientist (Band 6)

Location:Milton Keynes University Hospital

Contract Tenure:2 months initially

Shifts:Core shifts, Monday to Friday

Pay Mechanism:Direct Pay

About Client:

Milton Keynes NHS Trust provides a range of healthcare services to the local community, including emergency care, outpatient services, and specialized treatments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct microtomy and provide high-quality diagnostic pathology services.
  • Perform routine and specialized tests in Cellular Pathology.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control and assurance protocols.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient diagnosis.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all laboratory activities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
  • Proven experience in Cellular Pathology.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in microtomy within a diagnostic setting.

Skills Required:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
