Job Description

We are looking for engineers with different levels of experience - Mid through to Senior, Principal, Staff or equivalent levels.

We aim to advance human health by re-imagining drug discovery with the power of artificial intelligence.

Your impact

This role offers the opportunity to work on a new ML-based software platform transforming the biopharmaceutical industry.

You will collaborate with engineers, scientists, and ML researchers to build this platform, using your experience and initiative.

What you will do

  • Partner with ML Research, Drug Design, and Data Engineering teams to develop and evaluate cutting-edge ML models at scale.
  • Build a scalable ML drug design research environment with robust software and libraries.
  • Develop tools for large-scale ML experiments across multiple accelerators.
  • Optimize model performance, scalability, and robustness for production.
  • Create novel drug discovery tools in partnership with domain experts, from prototype to production.
  • Collaborate with scientists to understand requirements and incorporate feedback.

Skills and qualifications

Essential

  • Experience developing large-scale ML models.
  • Strong programming skills, especially in Python.
  • Experience with ML frameworks like JAX, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
  • Full ML research and development lifecycle experience.
  • Proven ability to prototype and productionize ML models.
  • Strong software engineering and design skills.
  • Solid understanding of ML theory and applications.
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • Interest in chemistry and biology.
  • Experience with biomedical data.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, especially drug discovery.
  • Experience developing user-facing production code.
