Senior Manager, Value Analytics

Job Type: Temporary
Location: Berkshire
Duration: 12 months initial

SRG are partnering exclusively with a leading pharmaceutical company who currently require an experienced contractor with Health Economics expertise to join them on a temporary basis. This Senior Manager, Value Analytics assignment is expected to span an initial 6 months and is a hybrid role, based in their Maidenhead offices with some flex to work from home.
Within this role, the successful candidate will provide the global Value Analytics team with Excel-based economic modelling support amongst other tasks and you will have the opportunity to work on projects in different therapy areas and in different phases of development (from early pricing models to submission models).

Main Responsibilities may include:

Develop core global Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR), Indirect Treatment Comparison (ITC) and Health Economic Models (HEM) for HTA, payer and other Access stakeholders assessments, submissions and negotiations
Assist affiliates with local adaption of the Global Models (ITC, HEM), coordinate data requirements across biostatistics and evidence generations functions (Clinical Development; HEOR and Medical Affairs) to support Pricing & Reimbursement
Support the development of ITCs and HEMs to inform value proposition, development, pricing and commercial strategic forecast and decisions.
Join evidence modelling teams (cross-functional and multi countries) supporting the evidence modelling team lead to source affiliate and other stakeholder needs and co-create solutions.
Use analytical techniques leveraging available clinical data and published information to inform pricing and market access strategy.
Share best practices and key learnings across affiliates and cross-functional partners.
Skills/experience required include the following:

MSc or MPhil (required) or PhD (preferred) in Health Economics, Econometrics, Epidemiology, Public Health or any other related field
At least 3 years relevant experience in consultancy or pharmaceutical industry
Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills
Understanding of both health economics and evidence-synthesis disciplines as relevant to HTA, pricing, reimbursement, and value assessment
Experience interacting with and/or delivering submissions to HTA agencies, or other payer or decision-making bodies is highly desirable.
Expert knowledge in economic modelling and budget impact analysis
Hands-on knowledge of EXCEL for the development of economic models and/or BIMs including VBA
Ability to be proactive and motivated under a high-pressure environment
Experience/ability to work in a global matrix environment and operate cross-functionally as needed
Ability to work independently and take full accountability over projects
Strong communication skills
