We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Projects / Process Engineer to join a Global FMCG Manufacturing company in the Northwest
Working closely with the Head of Capital Investment,  in all aspects of managing project engineering services to support manufacturing operations
To include the specification, installation, commission and validation of all process and utilities support equipment
Role Responsibilities - Site Project Manager- Process Engineering

Lead Process Understanding and Project Engineering Capability and Engineering Projects in the manufacturing processing area
Own the budget - ££multi-million, detail design phase with the supplier / installation teams and commissioning of process equipment and utilities support services
You will be Involved in process design and generating innovative engineering solutions to drive continuous improvement in the manufacturing processing facilities
Provide Project Management in equipment selection, Specification definition and purchase of manufacturing process
Provide technical expertise in both existing and new engineering equipment
Provide technical project engineering leadership in the application of process engineering best practice
Provide technical knowledge on manufacturing bulk handling , storage and processing
Assist process improvement projects on site, ensuring appropriate technical change control to deliver robust, sustainable solutions
Leading CAPEX and improvement projects, RCAs, validation activities etc
Investigate new technologies for plant/equipment efficiency improvements
Ensure compliance with site standard operation procedures
Role Requirements - Site Project Manager- Process Engineering

Experience in implementing process improvement and efficiency projects within a quality driven manufacturing environment
BSc/BEng in Process or Chemical Engineering or related Engineering
Experience of Process / Food and Drink / Chemicals/Pharmaceutical/FMCG or other regulated industry
Operational knowledge of manufacturing equipment
Track record of leading engineering projects in manufacturing processing arena
Experienced in technology transfer / understanding of the product development process
Ability to evaluate potential innovative technology areas relevant to product
Project Engineering management skills
