We want to recruit an experienced International Field Service Engineer capable of fault finding & modifying Siemens and / or Allen Bradley PLCs on packaging and filling machinery used in the food, pharmaceutical & chemical markets. This is a global role involving spending up to 60% of your time travelling and working abroad, usually one week trips in Europe and Worldwide but you will be home based. <br />   <br /> BASIC SALARY: up to £55,000 <br />   <br /> BENEFITS: <br /> · Overtime to earn circa £10,000 <br /> · ALL travel expenses covered when abroad or in the UK <br />   <br /> LOCATION: Home based <br />   <br /> COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Bristol, Milton Keynes, Peterborough <br />   <br /> JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - manufacturer, machinery <br />   <br /> An international & UK Service Engineer role involving repair, refurbishment, upgrades & modification of installed machinery and installation and commissioning of new machinery. <br />   <br /> Working on standard and bespoke packaging & filling machinery used in the food, pharmaceutical markets. <br />   <br /> The role involves travelling and working abroad up to 60% of the time, usually one week trips in Europe and Worldwide with the rest of your time spent working in the UK. <br />   <br /> Home based you will be required to be in the office once per week when not working abroad. <br />   <br /> Overtime paid door to door over 39 hours per week with very occasional weekend work. <br />   <br /> PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer - manufacturer, machinery <br />   <br /> · You MUST have a proven track record as an international Field Service Engineer ideally with hands on experience of process or packaging machinery in the food, chemicals or pharmaceutical markets. <br /> · The company will consider an experienced UK Service Engineer looking to move into an international role or even an experienced food or pharmaceutical factory Maintenance Engineer wanting to get into a field service role with international travel. <br /> · You WILL be capable of fault finding & modifying Siemens and / or Allen Bradley PLCs.
· You WILL be a qualified Electrical / Electronic Engineer.
· You WILL be able and willing to spend up to 60% of your time working abroad.
