Service Engineer – Industrial pneumatic systems

Circa £30k  

Monday to Friday, 40hour week, days

Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to a company who design & build pneumatic systems & solutions into their clients, FMCG, Automotive & pharmaceutical industries.  

Now looking to bolster their installations & maintenance team with an experienced all round Service Technician

Duties of the successful Service Engineer will include:

Visit company premises to carry out planned or reactive maintenance on their compressed air system  
Carry out installation projects for pumps, vacuum & compressed air
Repair or replace where needed 
To contribute to the health and safety of the site
Monitor, order & control stock
Ensure that ALL SOP’s meet health and safety requirements
Typical hours, Monday to Friday, 40hour week (days, some flexibility)

The Successful Service Technician will enjoy;

Circa £30k
Company van + fuel card
Overtime available
Required experience & characteristics of the Service Technician

Proven experience repairing & maintaining compressed air systems
Relevant qualification a distinct advantage
Must have a valid driving licence
Mechanical, pneumatic or electrical engineering-based qualification a distinct advantage
Good communication capability
Experience of working with manufacturing environments
Highly focused on quality, safety and managing the working environment.
Strong command of the English Language
Enthusiastic, polite & professional character
