Field Service Engineer - Checkweighers - £40,000-£45,000 (DOE) + Benefits

A leading manufacturer of checkweighers and x-ray machinery is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join their growing team.

The role is field based, covering the whole of the UK. however, the position will have a main focus in the south, with 70% of work being below Birmingham, therefore this role would suit someone located south of the M62.

The ideal candidate will have experience within both mechanical and electrical engineering, will have worked with checkweighers, inspection equipment, x-ray machinery or similar previously and will have experience of commissioning and calibration.

The Package:

Salary - £40,000-£45,000 (DOE)

On call rota - 1 week in 6 - Paid for 20 additional hours

Incentive / bonus scheme - circa £4,000

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the UK Service Manager
Commission, calibrate or repair the full range of equipment.

Qualifications:

Experience of inspection machinery, e.g. checkweighers, x-ray and metal detection.
Knowledge of the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
