QC Technical leader (Serology) – Permanent – Edinburgh – Salary dependent upon experience.

Are you a senior scientist working in the clinical field? Do you have a background in serology? If you would also like to work in an exciting and rapidly expanding life sciences organisation then please read on.

I am recruiting for an experienced serologist to supervise the workload for a small team of biochemists in a lab based in the outskirts of Edinburgh. The role will involve carrying out a variety of serological and biochemical tests as well as developing training and troubleshooting assays for the team.

In order to be successful for this position you should have experience in the following:

  • Serology or immunohaematology.

  • Troubleshooting and method development.

  • Coaching and training of staff.

  • Knowledge of clinical testing.
