SafeBridge currently has an opening for a Managing Toxicologist supporting our consulting operations based in Mountain View, California, New York City, and Suffolk, England. MANAGING TOXICOLOGIST

Consider this special opportunity to join the leaders in potent compound safety, in a high performingteam of experienced consultants serving the occupational and environmental health and product safety needs of pharmaceutical, chemical and biotechnology companies, across the US and internationally.There is potential for growth and diversification in this established, privately held firm. You will fill a key senior position in providing hazard assessment guidance, staff mentoring and leadership to clients involved in the safe manufacture of potent new chemical entities and other hazardous materials.


Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Provide occupational and environmental toxicology, risk assessment and regulatory compliance guidance to clients.

• Duties will include development of occupational toxicology documents including: occupational exposure limits (OELs), acceptable surface limits (ASLs), occupational health (hazard) categorizations (OHCs), and safety data sheets (SDSs).

• Development of product safety documents including permitted/acceptable daily exposure (PDE/ADE) determinations for product protection purposes and the prevention of cross-contamination from product residues impurities and other contaminants.

• Provide toxicology consulting support within your base of experience to clients as necessary and assist in project management, some marketing and client relations, as appropriate.

• Work with a senior team of recognized experts in toxicology, risk assessment, safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, and analytical chemistry.

• Providing technical services, managing personnel, and managing client accounts.

• Successful candidates for this position should ideally have a Ph.D. Working experience required: five to ten years.

ERT and/or DABT certification is required.

• The ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills and is able to work on multiple projects while balancing changing priorities and deadlines.

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry as well as consulting is a definite advantage.
