Manchester, United Kingdom. Hybrid remote/onsite, flexible approx. 2 days per week in office. We will consider fully remote applicants however spending time in the office is an advantage.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedSenior Solution Consultantto join our dynamic Tulip team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering MES solutions on the Tulip platform for life sciences clients, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical devices. They may also work across other use cases outside of MES as needed. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and support implementation to ensure successful project delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to understand business processes and identify MES requirements specific to the Life Sciences industry.
  • Design and architect MES solutions to address complex manufacturing and regulatory challenges.
  • Define integration approaches and design between MES and other systems such as ERP, devices, and machines.
  • Lead requirements gathering workshops and create detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants.
  • Support pre-sales activities including product demonstrations, proposal preparation, and solution design.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate clients and internal teams.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in MES implementation, preferably within the Life Sciences industry.
  • Strong knowledge of MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Werum PAS-X, Rockwell PharmaSuite, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience of Tulip, or other low/no-code tools, is an advantage but not essential as extensive technical training will be provided.
  • Proven experience in leading complex MES projects from concept to deployment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Pharma and Biotech industry & processes.
  • Familiarity with GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP5, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to client sites.
