GRAIL is looking for afull-stack Senior Software Engineer to join its clinical softwareteam based in our London office. The team is responsible for thedevelopment of applications used to facilitate collaborationbetween GRAIL and its partners. As a Software Engineer, you willwork as part of a cross-functional team to design, develop and runsystems that power the safe execution of clinical workflows and thecollection of relevant data. Your work will support cancer researchand the development of GRAIL's multi-cancer early detection bloodtest. This is a hybrid role in our London office - Monday andWednesday. Responsibilities - Use your experience developingfull-stack applications to build software that supports cancerresearch. - Build and operate the infrastructure and tooling thatruns the systems and powers the team. - Work as part of across-functional team to overcome real-world problems thatsometimes can’t be solved with software alone. - Work on systemswhich are built in Go, Java, React & MySQL. PreferredQualifications - You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree inComputer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering,Bioinformatics or a similar technical field or equivalent. - 5+years of relevant work experience designing, developing, testingand maintaining software. - Familiar with at least one generalpurpose programming language such as Go, Java or TypeScript. -Experience working on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, orMicrosoft Azure. - You are passionate about software engineering. -You have excellent logical reasoning and analytical skills, with apreference for simple solutions. - You are a strong written andverbal communicator and can adapt your communication style and thelevel of detail to your audience. - Experience with healthcare orbiotech systems is a plus. - You are within easy commute of centralLondon, this is a hybrid role spending Mondays and Wednesdays inthe office. Based on the role, colleagues may be eligible toparticipate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individualperformance, or an incentive plan.
