Senior Scientist

An exciting Oxford based Biotech start-up are looking for a Senior Scientist to help lead the TCR engineering processes, as well as drive the in vivo and in vitro validation of TCEs.

The company’s goal is to engineer T-cell therapies that can accurately identify and attack cancer cells within solid tumours. It aims to overcome the limitations of traditional immunotherapies, which have often struggled to penetrate and effectively target solid tumours.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a similar field
3+ years industry experience
Experience inin vivoandin vitrovalidation of TCEs (T-cell engagers)

Desirable:
Experience in cell and immunological assays (flow cytometry, ELISA etc.)
Experience in NGS analysis pipeline
A background in protein expression, purification and characterisation
Knowledge of molecular biology protocols, with an emphasis on cloning and PCR

Location – Central Oxford (onsite – fulltime)

Salary - £50,000-£60,000
