At Labcorp in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire we are looking to recruit a Senior Research Analyst to join our expanding Metabolism team. They cover a range of study types including animal metabolism, biodegradation, dermal penetration, environmental fate and plant metabolism. This will give you great exposure in working with different product lines and provide you with a wider skill set and experience.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Performing a variety of laboratory assays following standard procedures and study protocols

  • Critical review of processes and study plans, suggesting changes where appropriate

  • Reviewing own work for overall accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and soundness of technical judgment

  • Maintaining study documentation alongside client and regulatory expectations

  • Use of LIMS software

  • Contributing to wider method development and validations projects

  • Maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment at all times

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a relevant scientific degree.

  • Have experience in a fast paced regulated laboratory setting, understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and study protocols

  • Be able to effectively communicate throughout the lifecycle of a study with peers and study management

  • Be highly motivated to produce high quality work against regulatory expectations

  • Be able to motivative and influence others to ensure timely delivery of high quality results, and use own experiences to help in training of junior team members

  • Have experience in troubleshooting problems and informing appropriate channels for the reporting of issues
