SENIOR REMEDIAL ELECTRICIAN

Our client is one of the UKs leading providers of electrical safety services, specifically inspection and testing of fixed installations. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a Remedial Electrician in the Crawley area.

JOB PURPOSE

Due to several large projects wins they are looking to expand the business and they are now looking for a Remedial Electrician to cover Crawley and the surrounding areas.

You will have the ability to work as part of a team to carry out Electrical Remedial Works for a range of clients.

You should possess a good working knowledge of current electrical legislation, regulations and standards and have a proven track record of working in 24-hour operational environments.

The role requires a person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good IT skills would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided to produce legible, accurate and concise reports.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Extensive knowledge of single and three phase fault finding and 1st time fixes.

Good sound electrical knowledge, for testing and installation works

Extensive knowledge of single and three phase fault finding and 1st time fixes

To carry out electrical repairs / minor works on variety types of LV installations

To assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks

To liaise with the Remedials/Operations Supervisor for planned and routine maintenance programme and reporting procedures

To maintain records of all work, and that required paperwork is completed and sent in within the defined timescales



QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Electrical Installation (NVQ Level 3 / 236)

Commercial/Industrial Experience

C&G Qualifications

AM2,IPAF,PASMA (desirable)

18th Edition

Test and Inspection 2391 or equivalent

Full UK driving licence


SALARY & BENEFITS

Our client are offering a salary of £46,500, door to door travel + overtime

Holidays 30 days including Bank holidays

Hours of Work 45 hours a week.

Company vehicle A suitable company car is provided for business use. A company van and fuel card is supplied.

Pension - The current level of contribution by the company is 3% of salary, with the person contributing 5%. Enrolled on the pension scheme from day one.

Healthcare - Following successful completion of the 6 month probationary period the person will be invited to join the company health scheme.

Sickness and absence: Paid from day one SSP
