They are currently looking for a Senior QC Analyst to join their Incoming Goods Department. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control, particularly in cream product analysis, to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to our commitment to quality.


Responsibilities

  • Lead a small team of analysts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and accurate testing processes.
  • Perform routine analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, packaging components, and finished cream products, utilising techniques such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), water content analysis, and density measurements.
  • Ensure all testing activities comply with GMP standards and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Oversee the timely release of products to customers (including internal teams) by managing testing schedules and lead times.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with ALCOA principles.
  • Participate in OOS investigations, leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Contribute to the development and review of Quality Management System documents, including SOPs, Deviations, and Change Controls.
  • Liaise with third-party laboratories to coordinate sample dispatch and review analytical results.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years in a pharmaceutical/cosmetics quality control environment, with hands-on experience in analysing cream products.
  • Proficiency in HPLC and other analytical techniques such as water content and density measurements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team.
