Role: - Senior QC Analyst- Pharmaceutical
Salary: - Competitive salary
Location: -Stevenage- onsite full time

Russell Taylor Group are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QC Analyst to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing clients Quality Control. This fully onsite role is predominantly technical, involving analytical chemistry techniques and ensuring product quality and compliance. The role will also act as deputy for the QC Manager, providing leadership and guidance in their absence.

Responsibilities
• Perform analytical testing such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, TLC and other validated methods.
• Work in accordance with GMP standards, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve analytical data, ensuring accuracy.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to junior members of the team to maintain high laboratory standards and technical competencies.
• Deputise for the QC Manager at least once a week and covering for annual leave and times required out of the office
• Involvement of method transfer, method development, and analytical method validation as needed.
• Participate in internal and external audits.

The Person
• Educated to degree level in a Science related subject such as Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or similar.
• Previous industrial experience working in a QC Pharmaceutical environment to GMP standards.
• Hands on experience of analytical chemistry techniques such as HPLC, GC etc.
• Experience of deputising for management and training more junior members.
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience in a leadership, supervisory, or deputising capacity.
