Our client is a well-established international design and construction contractor delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe. Operating in sectors such as food production, pharmaceuticals, data centres, logistics, and advanced manufacturing, they are known for delivering technically challenging schemes with precision and efficiency.


Role Overview

This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Project Manager with a strong CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) background.

The role involves leading all aspects of CSA delivery on fast-paced, high-specification projects, ensuring efficient coordination, commercial oversight, and compliance with all quality and safety standards.


You’ll be responsible for managing construction teams, coordinating with design consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring smooth project execution from pre-construction through to handover. The role is site-based, with national travel required depending on project location.


Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Project Director, supporting strategic delivery of CSA workstreams
  • Lead technical reviews and support tender submissions related to CSA scope
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, bid evaluations, and contract negotiation
  • Manage on-site delivery teams and ensure compliance with programme, quality, and safety standards
  • Coordinate CSA design development from early construction stages through to final execution
  • Maintain project budget and schedule control, ensuring deliverables are met
  • Implement internal project control systems, risk registers, and progress reporting
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure all parties are aligned and informed
  • Monitor team performance and ensure consistent adherence to delivery standards and expectations
  • Oversee risk identification, change management, and opportunity tracking throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage handover process, including documentation, snagging, and transition to operations


What We’re Looking For

  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • CSCS card
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience delivering CSA packages on large-scale or high-value projects (UK and/or Europe)
  • Strong technical understanding of civil works, concrete, steelwork, envelope, and architectural finishes
  • Experience managing CSA from RIBA Stage 4 through to completion
  • Strong leadership and client-facing skills
  • Proficient in construction health & safety and UK building regulations
  • Proven ability to manage programmes, budgets, and commercial risk within live construction environments
