We are currently working with a leading global Data Centre provider with a multibillion-pound portfolio. With continued investment and development growth across the EMEA region they are looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience in ESG and Sustainability project delivery to join their London office.


Remuneration:

£70,000 - £80,000 + benefits + bonus

London office 5 days


The Role:

The Senior Project Manager will join a proactive and dynamic team who lead all strategic Sustainability and ESG projects across the business. This role will be focused on sustainable initiatives across their new build development sites (£500+ million) focusing on carbon reduction and future proofing the portfolio.Current project initiatives include solar PV, rainwater harvesting, district heating, green and community initiatives and range in individual value from c.£50,000 - £3 million.


Due to the nature of the role the Project Manager will be front end focused RIBA 2 – 3/4 driving sustainable initiatives from initial concept, business case and design and will then take a higher-level oversight in delivery across multiple projects so someone from a PMO background would also be considered.


This position is a high-level strategic role and will include lots of stakeholder management and subject matter expertise to advise other internal teams (design, engineering, R&D, delivery, asset management and property) as well as external consultants, local authorities and government agencies with ESG reporting into the head of sustainability and C-suit level.


The business has a driven and forward focused culture, and they are looking for a proactive individual who has a passion for sustainability and ESG with good communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.


Requirements:

  • Either a Degree in Project Management with strong ESG / sustainability experience OR a Degree in Sustainability with strong PRINCE2 / AMP construction project delivery experience
  • Experience working on ESG / sustainable projects across the RIBA 2 – 6 lifecycle with a focus on the front end RIBA 2 – 3 stages
  • Data centre experience preferable or other critical environments such as logistics, aviation, pharmaceutical or manufacturing
  • Understanding of ESG, whole lifecycle carbon reduction and accounting and sustainable construction best practice
  • Commercially astute with good stakeholder management and reporting skills.
