They are currently seeking aSenior Programme Managerto join their Real Estate Programme Management team in Scotland, to lead and manage the delivery of complex life sciences programmes and portfolios.



The role


As part of their passionate and professional team, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting and purposeful programmes and portfolios nationally and globally, working collaboratively with clients, regulatory bodies, and other consultancies to help their clients realise their objectives.


The team provide leadership at programme and portfolio level, creating the space for their private and public sector clients to deliver innovative, inclusive, and impactful solutions in the life sciences sector. With a truly global client base, the opportunity can offer exciting challenges and exposure to some of the most innovative schemes in the marketplace.


Responsibilities;

  • Lead and manage the delivery of complex life sciences construction/estate investment programmes and portfolios
  • Ensure client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Act as a key contact and trusted advisor, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners
  • Account management and business development
  • Assist with the creation and submission of bids and proposals
  • Support the enhancement of their portfolio and programme management offerings by sharing best practices and insights gained
  • Champion the integration of digital tools and solutions to improve portfolio and programme delivery and outcomes



The candidate


We’re seeking individuals with a proven track record of successfully leading the management of portfolios and/or programmes, ideally within the life sciences sector, who are eager to contribute to business growth in a collaborative and dynamic environment.


Essential experience includes;

  • At least 5 years experience in leading and managing portfolios/programmes for the Senior Programme Manager level and 2-3 years for a Programme Manager position
  • Must have real estate or construction experience
  • Prior experience in the life sciences or comparable sectors - building large laboratories and pharmaceutical plants is highly desired
  • Experience with various procurement methods and contract types
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification
  • Membership in a relevant professional body is desirable
