Creating a spacefor discovery without boundaries helps us to turn our science intobenefits for human health and the economy. /n/n About the role…/n/n We are looking for a skilled organic chemist or chemicalbiologist to join the team and help manage our lab as well asleading projects within the lab, either as an SLRS, or withappropriate experience, as a PLRS. /n/n This is an excitingopportunity to join a vibrant and diverse team of 14 chemists andchemical biologists, working at a leading biological researchinstitute. /n/n If you have a PhD in any of the following fieldsSynthetic Organic Chemistry, Supramolecular Chemistry, ChemicalBiology, or Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis, and have experience inorganic synthesis and/or cell culture, this would be a greatopportunity for you. /n/n The projects you will be working on willfocus either synthetic chemistry or work at the boundary ofchemical synthesis and chemical biology. You will also be key inhelping the PI allocate resource and space, organise equipmentmaintenance, manage relationships with Contract ResearchOrganisations and Science and Technology Platforms, lead on healthand safety within the group, and coordinate grant writing. /n/nCollaboration is key at the crick and will this role there isopportunity to work across group and with different technologyplatforms.
