Senior PHP Software Engineer (Remote)

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work as partof a Product Engineering team. They take care to evaluate wherethey can further the long-term technical vision whilst having abias towards action and customer/product value. This role is remoteeligible, which means you would work virtually from home or anothernon-Best Buy Health location. You will work in one of our softwareengineering teams, building out our platform and product for use bypatients and healthcare professionals. You will collaborate closelywith other disciplines, including biomedical engineering, datascience, electronics engineering and product science. You willoperate across the stack but will have significant back-end or dataengineering experience. You will help provide 24/7 support for theproduct, resolving live issues when needed You will have a firmgrasp on why the team is building functionality, for whom and thevalue it will deliver. You will be aware of the impact of yourteam's work on other areas of the org, including longer termarchitectural viability of solutions, as well as opportunities forwider cooperation. Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science,Engineering, or related field OR equivalent combination ofeducation and/or experience ~3 years of relevant experience with aBachelor's degree OR equivalent relevant professional experienceYou have significant previous experience as a Software Engineer Youhave a good knowledge of at least one modern programming languageYou have experience writing tests and testable code You areflexible and can learn on the job quickly You have experiencedelivering across managed cloud platforms such as AWS You canpragmatically balance quality with a fast-paced schedule You are agood team player, ready to help, debate, compromise and worktogether Experience in the healthcare industry or have worked withIonic hybrid apps We’re committed to helping our people thrive atwork and at home.
