We are currently seeking a Senior Patient Recruitment Associate to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Senior Patient Recruitment Associate at ICON, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to enhance patient recruitment and retention in clinical trials. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that recruitment efforts align with study objectives and effectively engage potential participants throughout the process.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Creating and executing comprehensive patient recruitment plans tailored to specific clinical trials, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
  • Collaborating with clinical research teams to identify target patient populations and develop outreach strategies that resonate with potential participants.
  • Utilizing a variety of channels, including digital marketing, social media, and community outreach, to promote trial participation and enhance visibility.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and community organizations to facilitate recruitment efforts.
  • Conducting market research to understand patient needs, preferences, and barriers to participation in clinical trials, and using this information to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Monitoring recruitment metrics and progress, analyzing data to identify trends, and adjusting strategies as needed to meet recruitment goals.
  • Providing support and guidance to patients throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any concerns they may have.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in patient recruitment and engagement.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in patient recruitment or clinical research, with a strong understanding of the clinical trial process.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful recruitment strategies that effectively engage and retain participants.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, including patients, healthcare providers, and advocacy groups.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in evaluating recruitment metrics and using data to drive decision-making.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for improving patient access to clinical trials and enhancing the patient experience.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and techniques, as well as experience with social media platforms for outreach.
  • Willingness to travel for outreach initiatives, events, and meetings as needed.
