Products range from a trusted email communications platform to robust news and educational web pages along with our world-class sponsored pharmaceutical content and doctors’ own user-generated content. Our mission is to continually improve these offerings as well as identifying new ways to support our community of doctors throughout their careers.

Job Description

We are looking for creative, resourceful and enthusiastic writers to join our team. The Medical Writing team at M3 is responsible for producing a wide variety of content, primarily forDoctors.net.uk, the UK’s largest professional network of doctors, but additionally for a range of other media. Content produced includes promotional material, conference highlights, videos, case studies, educational modules, detail aids and more, for a range of clients spanning the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries, charities and wider healthcare sector.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Writing, editing, proofreading and quality checking content.
  • Ensuring content produced is of the highest quality and is compliant to regulatory codes.
  • Planning campaigns with the wider team.
  • Establishing and maintaining processes to constantly improve efficiency and quality.
  • Ability to provide strategic and/or tactical input for client campaigns where required.
  • Attending client meetings to plan, scope and discuss campaigns (NB. day-to-day client relationships are managed by the Account Management team).
  • Working with Business Directors on proposals and pitches.
  • Liaising with KOLs in relation to content development.
  • Working closely with the Design, Programme Management and Client Partnership teams.
  • Potential for travel to attend international and national medical conferences.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate

  • A degree, preferably a PhD, in life sciences, or equivalent experience in the medical, pharmaceutical or MedComms industries.
  • At least 3 years’ experience of commercial and/or digital writing (Med Comms, creative agency, education agency, pharma).
  • Ability to write clear and concise, scientifically accurate copy, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of working across a wide range of therapy areas.
  • Experience of working on promotional post-launch drug campaigns would be preferable.
  • Ability to understand concepts quickly.
  • A firm understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory codes of practice.
  • Confident in dealing with healthcare professionals and clients.
  • Optional: An interest (and preferably experience) in line management.
