Your New Role As the Senior Legal Associate (Contract Management), youll be responsible for supporting clients business by drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts as part of a wider general support service to the clients contracts management and in-house legal teams. Responsibilities Be responsible for drafting and negotiating a wide range of Commercial Contracts. Working closely with our Clients in-house legal departments on a range of matters such as international deals, bids, procurement, marketing, professional services, media, technology or consumer matters. Be part of a team committed to the overall delivery of services and compliance with all delivery commitments to the client. Active caseload management. Adhere to all Factor delivery processes and commitments. Input and manage data on the company and client systems and keep them up to date. Help develop contract templates, playbooks and other tools for use by the team. Be part of a team committed to continually improving our service to the client and adding value. What You Need To Succeed Essential Criteria You are adaptable, authentic, accountable, and values-driven. This role requires the legal knowledge to take instructions from Clients, take appropriate action and serve as an escalation point on issues for more junior team members. Its no small task! In addition to the above, here are the required skills, knowledge, capabilities, and education for this role: Law Degree and/or Legally Qualified. Legally eligible to work in the country this role is based. Minimum 4 years drafting experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts within a law firm, an ALSP, as part of an in-house legal team. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong attention to detail. Regular client-facing experience. Good commercial awareness, working directly with business managers. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite - especially Microsoft Word. Organizational fit for the Factor culture - exhibiting the core values of Authenticity, Accountability, Adaptability and Stewardship. Client relationship management. Desirable Criteria Experience of working with or for a telecommunications, financial services or professional services firm preferably in a contracting function; Experience of working in-house.
