Our client, a leader in critical digital infrastructure solutions, is searching for aSenior Lab Managerto spearhead the validation and testing of liquid cooling technologies.

This role is pivotal in developing high-performance solutions for data centres and critical environments, helping define the future of thermal management.


About the Role

As the Senior Lab Manager, you’ll oversee the operation of advanced liquid cooling labs, ensuring systems and equipment meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

You'll lead a talented team, collaborate closely with global product development teams, and drive validation initiatives that set industry benchmarks.


This is apermanent rolebased inLondon, with the chance to make a global impact on the future of liquid cooling technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lab Leadership: Oversee daily lab operations, ensuring seamless performance of advanced equipment and systems.
  • Project Management: Lead validation projects, including performance testing, reliability analysis, and scalability studies.
  • Collaboration: Partner with global product development teams to align validation frameworks with customer and design objectives.
  • Team Development: Mentor and manage a team of engineers and specialists, fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyse test results and recommend improvements to refine product performance.
  • Industry Leadership: Stay ahead of trends and emerging technologies in liquid cooling and thermal management.


Requirements:

  • Expertise: Proven knowledge of liquid cooling, heat transfer systems, and thermal management.
  • Experience: 7+ years in product testing/validation, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Education: Degree in Mechanical, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
  • Innovation: Ability to design and implement advanced testing frameworks.
  • Leadership: Strong skills in team management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with data centre environments or critical infrastructure solutions is a plus.
