Senior HVAC Mechanical Designer
Location: Ashton-Under-Lyne
Role: Permanent
Salary: £50k - £55k
Hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday

We're on the lookout for a Senior HVAC Mechanical Designer to join an innovative company that's shaping the future of sophisticated environments. .

Senior HVAC Mechanical Designer Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary design team to ensure technical excellence and commercial success.
Guide the team to create harmonised designs that meet programme and budget requirements.
Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring effective collaboration with consultants and addressing client change requests.
Embrace detailed design levels at each stage, proactively addressing challenges and informing senior management.
Lead coordination meetings and promote the use of innovative tools such as Revizto and M-Files.
Communicate project progress and design intricacies clearly to all teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality information.
Conduct buildability reviews, capturing decisions that enhance efficiency and value.
Uphold safety standards in collaboration with the Principal Designer Representative.
Mentor junior engineers, fostering their development while maintaining a record of competencies.
Senior HVAC Mechanical Designer Key Requirements:

Proven success as a Mechanical/HVAC Designer with experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
Strong knowledge of construction solutions for pharma and healthcare facilities.
Ability to create commercial designs and provide unique solutions to complex problems.
Qualification in Building Studies (HNC or higher preferred).
Experience using REVIT, Revizto, IES, M-Files, and Microsoft Office, including Projects.
Experience with turnkey projects, including construction, HVAC, and mechanical and electrical works in pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
Familiarity with ISO 19650 (UK BIM Framework), ISO 9001:2015 quality systems, and CDM regulations.
Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills, particularly when liaising with senior client personnel.
