We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer (HVAC) to act as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership in the delivery of GMP-compliant HVAC systems and energy-efficient building services solutions. This role involves working closely with clients, leading stakeholder discussions, and contributing strategically to the business's growth initiatives.The position will operate mainly from our Cheshire base office with travel to client sites required, offering the opportunity to influence both project execution and the companys broader strategic direction.__Key Responsibilities:Understand client needs and formulate innovative, technically sound solutions.Deliver technical presentations and reports in a logical and compelling manner.Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on HVAC systems, including energy efficiency and GMP-compliance for pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.Provide technical leadership and expertise on Energy Kaizen initiatives and HVAC system improvements.Lead technical stakeholder discussions with clients regarding project delivery and progress.Report on Engineering KPIs, highlighting successes and improvement opportunities.Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to support business growth, attend industry conferences, and identify continuous improvement areas.Mentor junior engineers and support the professional development of the wider engineering team.Ensure compliance with relevant UK and EU standards and directives.__Required Skills and Experience:Proven expertise in HVAC system design, energy efficiency, and GMP-compliant processes, particularly within the pharmaceutical/life sciences sectors.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions, mentor a team, and influence client decision-making.Bachelor's or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Building Services, or related field).Chartered Engineer status (MCIBSE, FCIBSE, IMechE, or equivalent) or working towards Fellow grade membership.Strong project management and client-facing skills, with experience facilitating global projects.Excellent understanding of building services engineering, energy-saving technologies, and regulatory requirements.__Desirable Experience:Familiarity with UK and EU building services standards and directives.Experience in business development activities and strategic planning within an engineering environment.Experience presenting at conferences or technical events.__Personal Attributes:Strategic thinker with a solutions-focused mindset.Strong communicator with the ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.Proactive, with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required__Package:Up to £60,000Life InsurancePrivate MedicalFunded CPD daysPerformance related bonusHoliday rising with service (starting at 23 days)TPBN1_UKTJ
