Who are we looking for?

We seek aSenior Health Economistwith exceptional attention to detail to join our team. This role is ideal for a driven, enthusiastic individual interested in health economic research methods, project management, leadership, and strategic consulting. The candidate should be passionate about high-quality economic models and evidence critique, participating in evidence review, model development, and communication. Opportunities for thought leadership, research, conference attendance, and publication are available.


Key Responsibilities


  1. Design, develop, and adapt economic models following international best practices, supervising junior team members.
  2. Review and critically appraise health economic evidence.
  3. Collaborate with systematic review teams to scope projects and advise on protocols and search strategies.
  4. Develop study reports, presentations, manuscripts, posters, and other outputs.
  5. Engage with clients, explaining methods and results clearly.
  6. Manage projects and ensure quality standards.
  7. Support business development activities, including proposal development.
  8. Engage in continuous professional development, mentorship, and team leadership.


The above duties are not exhaustive; additional tasks may be assigned as per business needs.


Essential Requirements and Qualifications


  • Experience in applying health economic and mathematical modelling techniques in a professional setting.
  • Expertise in health economic evaluation, with advanced Excel (including VBA) skills.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and literature review.
  • Knowledge of HTA submission requirements (e.g., NICE).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Organized, methodical, and responsible for project management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to review scientific information under deadlines.
  • Team-oriented and capable of working independently, with effective delegation.
  • Self-motivated with leadership qualities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and reference management software.


Desirable Skills and Experience

These are advantageous but not mandatory:



  • Experience with systematic reviews or meta-analyses.
  • Knowledge of R, Treeage, WinBUGS, SAS, Stata.
  • Understanding of advanced statistical methods like network meta-analysis, survival analysis.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience with clinical trials or processes.
  • Publication and conference participation history.
  • Mentorship or line management experience.
  • Business development experience.
