Senior Environmental Scientist

Hybrid working from Oxfordshire

Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience)

SRG is working with a leading UK consultancy company in the chemicals sector. Recently a new vacancy has opened for an environmental scientist to join their team of expert regulatory consultants. This would be a great opportunity for someone with an in depth understanding of environmental fate or ecotoxicology who is looking to join a consultancy role or have a step up in their career. Applications welcome from regulatory experts within chemicals manufacturing, regulatory bodies and consultancy backgrounds. A minimum of 2 days per week working on site from Oxfordshire will be required.

Role Description

Providing regulatory support with environmental assessments to ensure dossiers are compliant
Complying with REACH environmental hazard and risk assessment requirements
Study monitoring for environmental fate and ecotoxicology studies
Providing support and advice on CLP classifications and PBT assessments
Working closely with clients on various regulatory projects and providing expert environmental advice

Requirements

Extensive recent experience in a similar environmental science, E fate or ecotoxicologist role
A strong understanding of REACH regulations and CLP classifications
Up to date knowledge of testing practices within environmental fate and ecotoxicity
QSAR modelling knowledge would be beneficial
Ability to work onsite in a hybrid arrangement with two days onsite in Oxfordshire
