Senior Electrical Project Engineer/ Electrical Building Services Engineer

Shrewsbury, Shropshire

(Potential to work form Birmingham office for part of the week if preferred)

Full Time, Permanent

Monday to Friday- Hybrid working available.

£60,000- £70,000 (Negotiable) + £5780 Car Allowance

With operations across a wide range of sectors, from public infrastructure to private industry, it designs and manages innovative energy solutions.

We are currently looking to add a senior electrical project engineer/building services engineer to the team on a full time, permanent basis, you’ll play an important role in the successful delivery of critical MEP upgrade works at Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Electrical building services aspects of projects from concept through completion.

  • Support the development and review detailed Electrical designs for HV/LV distribution, Lighting, Small Power, specialist and life safety systems in buildings.

  • Monitor project budgets and programme, identifying potential risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

  • Conduct thorough reviews of Electrical designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks.

    Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in healthcare (priority) or similar, highly regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, life sciences, data centres are acceptable.

  • Considerable experience working with electrical building services i.e. HV/LV distribution, lighting, small power, specialist and life safety systems etc

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex engineering projects.

  • Building services qualified, ideally HNC (desirable)
