Your new role
As our new Senior Consultant, Regulatory Ecotoxicologist, you will manage and provide ecotoxicological input to our innovative projects. You will be part of our Health Sciences department and an established team of Product Safety and Stewardship specialists, delivering key knowledge to a range of Ramboll projects. You will work closely with global project teams to deliver technical work, including risk assessments, study summaries, environmental exposure modeling, and other regulatory documentation. Our UK offices are easily accessible, and we also consider remote/hybrid working options. You will join a company with a flexible working policy, enabling you to be part of an exciting team of experts who respect each other and work towards common goals.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Act as a technical expert in ecotoxicology, environmental toxicology, and environmental fate and behavior.
Oversee the input of ecotoxicological data summaries and data interpretation into regulatory systems such as IUCLID or EFSA Portal.
Work with multidisciplinary global project teams to deliver technical work, including risk assessments, study summaries, environmental exposure modeling, and regulatory documentation.
About you
Scientific background with a specialization or degree in ecotoxicology, environmental toxicology, or a related discipline. A solid background in chemistry is desirable.
Relevant regulatory experience in ecotoxicology and/or environmental toxicology.
Numerically competent with the ability to complete accurate technical research, data gathering, technical analysis, and data review.
Proficient in software packages including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook. Knowledge of statistical software is an advantage.
Strong project management skills, including responsibility for technical quality, resources, budget, and timelines.
