Senior Analytical Scientist Oxford Salary - £40,000Temporary contract (6 months minimum)Hours - 37.5 hours per week PermanentSRG is working with a specialist researcher in the biotech sector who are hiring for a new senior analytical scientist. Initially the job would just be for a 6-month period but has a good chance of going permanent. The role would suit someone with a strong method development background with LC-MS and HPLC, ideally with small molecules. Applications are encouraged from people who have recently finished a PhD or have equivalent industry experience.Role DescriptionAnalytical method development with LC-MS for small moleculesCommunicating and collaborating with a team of chemists and biologists to generate analytical dataEnsuring compliance and adherence to health and safety guidelinesCalibrating and maintaining laboratory equipmentBuilding an external network and collaborating with CRO's to meet project deadlinesRequirementsPhD in analytical chemistry or equivalent industry experience in an analytical laboratoryRecent experience in method development with chromatographic techniques such as LC-MS and HPLC.An understanding of maintaining and troubleshooting analytical equipment would be advantageousAble to commute to the Oxford area, preferably by car as the site can be difficult to get toFull right to work in the UK If you would like to apply for this position, please use the link provided.
