Brand-new opportunity to join a rapidly growing contract research organisation nestled in the heart of South Devon, where world-class science meets one of the UK’s most beautiful places to live.


This outstanding scientific organisation delivers high-quality ecotoxicology, environmental fate, and analytical chemistry studies for global clients in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and chemical sectors. As a Scientific Report Writer, you'll be supporting Study Director and Quality Assurance teams to deliver high quality scientific reports to customers, working within a close-knit team in state-of-the-art laboratories just a stone’s throw from the sea. Your focus will be on delivering accurate and timely documentation that enhances reporting quality and streamlines workflows across departments.


Your role:

  • Translate complex scientific data into clear, high-quality reports
  • Use a range of software tools to create accurate, audit-ready documentation
  • Collaborate closely with Study Directors, Quality Assurance, and other teams
  • Maintain and improve report templates and documentation processes
  • Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and reduce reporting timelines
  • Support training, mentoring, and peer review activities with appropriate guidance


You’ll Bring:

  • A degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in a relevant scientific field
  • Some experience within a regulated laboratory environment
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including MS office and an aptitude to use statistical and data analysis tools


Full training is available, however previous experience within a Report Writing role or within an ecotoxicology or environmental fate laboratory would be highly advantageous.
