On behalf of our rapidly growing client, we are recruiting for a Scientific Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Scientific Director or Scientific Consultant to join a global collaboration consultancy that leads international experts through their medical decision-making process for pharmaceutical clients.

You must have experience of expert advisory board and/or moderated discussions with external subject matter experts/key opinion leaders.

The Scientific Consultant will be responsible for:

Providing exemplary support, leadership, and guidance within the scientific team to ensure that scientific communication and consultancy meet the highest standards and client expectations.

Moderating meetings with groups of international experts, facilitating discussions, and ensuring effective decision-making processes.

Driving communication strategies by developing key scientific communication points, strategically focused documents, and deliverables to support product positioning and brand vision.

Maintaining a hands-on approach to the creation and review of key deliverables, ensuring scientific excellence, strategic alignment, and quality.

Mentoring and coaching team members to develop their skills and expertise.

Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with client organizations to contribute to the organic growth of the business.

The Scientific Consultant should have the following:

A strong biological sciences background – a degree in biological life sciences (PhD preferred but not essential).

Significant experience in medical communications, the pharmaceutical industry, or healthcare.

Proven experience in moderating meetings with groups of experts, ensuring productive discussions and consensus-driven outcomes.

A willingness and ability to travel internationally (US/Europe) to attend face-to-face meetings as required.

A passion for applying extensive industry knowledge to meet client objectives and an innovative approach to problem-solving.

Confidence in engaging with highly educated and influential clients worldwide, with the ability to hold your own in discussions.

Commercial acumen with experience in building influential relationships and contributing to the organic growth of a business.

A proven track record in coaching/mentoring others to develop their potential.

The ability to confidently manage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
