About the role

Working under the guidance of the business development team, you will help drive growth by supporting client engagement and sales activities. This position is ideal for someone with a scientific background and some sales experience, eager to learn and grow in a collaborative setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and health markets.

  • Support outreach efforts to connect with potential clients through various channels, such as telephone, email and industry events.

  • Help build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Contribute to sales processes, including preparing proposals and following up on leads.

  • Work with internal teams to ensure client projects are delivered effectively.

  • Keep accurate records of client interactions and support team reporting efforts.

  • Participate in industry networking events to gain insights and build connections.

    What qualifications, skills and experience will you have?

  • A degree in a scientific field (e.g., biology, chemistry, or similar).

  • Around one year of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in a science related field.

  • Strong communication skills and a keen interest in building client relationships.

  • Eagerness to develop skills in business development with mentorship from experienced colleagues.

  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or health industries is an advantage.

  • Comfortable using digital tools for client management and communication.
