As an SAP S/4HANA WM & EWM Functional Architect, you will work as part of a fantastic team at a growing supply chain company, helping support some amazing customers across the world.

 

You’ll work alongside expert colleagues who will help you develop your skills and career and contribute to innovative solutions for both new and existing clients.

 

This role will see you getting the opportunity to work with S/4HANA, RISE, GROW, UI5, mobility and cloud based solutions. You could be working on multiple customers, projects and change requests, or could be focusing on a larger project in terms of timelines and complexity. Your experience in designing amazing SAP WM and EWM will be just as important as your business process knowledge of the supply chain as we offer business side consulting as well as purely functional offerings. You will be expected to demonstrate strong knowledge of how the warehousing modules interact with other supply chain modules in the SAP suite.

 

You will also have the opportunity to obtain or retain SAP certification in key supply chain areas and a desire for continuous improvement and development is required.

 

Your working location will vary as client requirements dictate, but when not on a client site you will be mainly working from home, with the possibility of meeting up with your team colleagues in person on a regular basis. About the role

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Gather and analyse business requirements related to warehouse processes and translate them into SAP EWM or WM solutions.
  • Lead client projects, workshops and engagements.
  • Configure, customise, and optimise SAP EWM and WM modules to align with operational needs.
  • Create functional specifications and maintain process documentation.
  • Support full-cycle implementations, upgrades, and enhancements of SAP EWM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EWM with SAP ERP and other systems.
  • Conduct system testing, user training, and go-live support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, providing expert-level EWM guidance.
  • Assist in pre-sales and sales pipeline development as requited.
  • Mentor junior members of the team.

 

Key Skills & Experience

 

  • Proven experience as a SAP EWM or WM Functional Architect.
  • Strong hands-on experience of SAP EWM and WM configuration (inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, RF framework, wave management, slotting, etc.).
  • Detailed understanding of decentralised and embedded EWM setups.
  • Experience of warehouse automation systems and material handling equipment integration.
  • Solid grasp of WM to EWM migration processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams.

 

Desirable

 

  • SAP EWM certification.
  • Experience in S/4HANA EWM environments.
  • Experience with RISE and GROW.
  • Exposure to Fiori Apps for EWM.
  • Knowledge of mobility solutions for EWM
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid project delivery methods.
