Position Overview:

The Sales Operations Manager will play a key role in supporting and enabling the sales team to operate efficiently and effectively. This position is responsible for developing and managing processes, tools, and systems that ensure optimal performance and productivity across the sales organization. The ideal candidate will possess operational expertise, a can-do attitude, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Process Optimisation

  • Evaluate, refine, and implement sales processes to drive e9iciency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement within the sales lifecycle.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting

  • Manage the development and maintenance of accurate sales forecasts.
  • Analyse and report key metrics such as pipeline development, conversion rates, and win/loss ratios.
  • Provide actionable insights to sales leadership and senior management to influence strategy.

CRM and Technology Management

  • Manage and optimise CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity within the CRM.
  • Support and inform Marketing and Lead Gen activities through CRM data
  • Advise on most e9ective CRM integrations (e.g. Slack, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo or Gong)
  • Collaborate with IT and sales teams to implement new tools and ensure adoption.

Performance Management and Analytics

  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics at individual and team levels.
  • Generate dashboards and reports for leadership to evaluate overall performance.

Training and Enablement

  • Develop and deliver training programs aimed at improving sales team capabilities.
  • Facilitate onboarding of new sales hires.
  • Ensure ongoing learning and skill development through coaching and workshops.


Skill, Qualifications and profile:

  • Relevant experience in sales operations, business operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), and sales performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or BANT is a plus.
