We are partnering with a fast-growth SME, operating under the umbrella of a larger group. They design, install and service Wastewater Systems, and after entering the market several years ago have rapidly increased revenue. They are now looking to continue this growth into other market segment.


They are seeking a Sales Manager to identify and convert new customers within the Manufacturing sector (for example Chemicals, Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical & Cosmetics Manufacturing, Packaging) across the UK. This is project-based sales, to identify and convert new customers in these sectors who will need Wastewater Systems (either greenfield systems or ongoing service/repair).



Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities across Manufacturing
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from identification through to engagement, negotiation, design (supported by technical experts within the business) and successful onboarding of the customer
  • Deliver significant revenue increases year-on-year
  • Collaborate with the wider business to ensure most effective market and product positioning


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong exposure to Sales/Business Development, including demonstrable ability to win new clients
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing customers
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Focused and goal-oriented


The head office is UK-based (South East England), but this is a remote position with travel to office and potential customers as required.


On offer is a salary of £50,000 to £60,000, plus car allowance and commission.
