I am recruiting for a Sales Executive

on behalf of my client, a global leader in scientific software for drug discovery. This role is focused on selling a cloud-based computational platform to PhD-level scientists and research labs across Europe.

The

Sales Executive

will take ownership of a high-value territory, managing complex sales cycles and developing long-term customer relationships within the scientific and pharmaceutical R&D community.

This is a remote role and will require regular European travel (up to 50%).

Key Responsibilities:
Sell scientific software solutions into the drug discovery space.
Manage large, multi-stakeholder deals, often valued over $2M.
Build relationships with research scientists, lab managers, and executive stakeholders.
Coordinate software evaluations with technical and applications teams.
Drive new business while nurturing renewals and upsells.
Represent the company at scientific conferences and events.

Requirements:
10+ years in scientific, software, or instrumentation sales into drug discovery or life sciences.
Strong understanding of the drug discovery ecosystem and lab workflows.
Proven success managing complex sales with technical and financial stakeholders.
Scientific degree (preferably in chemistry or biology).
Excellent communication, organisation, and CRM skills.
Confident working independently across a technical customer base.
