This exciting new opportunity offers a leadership position responsible for driving sales growth across the North of England, including the M62 corridor and Scotland. The role involves managing a team of two product specialists and providing hands-on leadership and coaching to maximize market share and account penetration.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly visit customer sites to support sales activities, with an expectation of 60-80% of time in the field.
  • Coach, mentor, and lead the product specialist team to enhance performance, drive repeat business, and achieve preferred supplier status.
  • Manage the sales territory, developing and implementing strategies to increase account penetration and overall market share.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with current and potential clients in the life sciences, academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Actively prospect for new business alongside the product specialist team and contribute to lead generation.


Experience required:

  • A degree-level education in a life science or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in people management and team leadership.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and account management within relevant industries.
  • Knowledge of life sciences, academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical accounts in the North of England.
