About Cera:

Cera is a digital-first healthcare-at-home company delivering care, nursing, telehealth, and repeat prescription services in people’s homes via technology. In under five years, Cera has expanded to 10,000+ staff across the UK and Germany, delivering 40,000+ healthcare visits a day, and has grown from zero to nearly £250m in revenues.

Every day, Cera delivers healthcare services equivalent to 40 hospitals or 1,000 care homes, and has grown 100-fold over the past two years, making it one of the fastest growing businesses in Europe.

Cera currently holds more than 160+ partnerships with the NHS and local authorities, and the company’s technology is used by 2,000+ businesses nationwide. Its technology predicts health deteriorations in patients 30-fold faster than traditional care companies, with its Professional Carers and Nurses responding to over 5,000 ‘high risk’ alerts each day.

Since the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cera has delivered 10 million healthcare visits in people’s homes, created 10,000 jobs, and licensed its recruitment technology to the UK Government Department of Health to recruit 50,000+ people into healthcare careers.

About the role:

Cera is preparing to launch its first real-world evidence (RWE) pilot and needs a Study Deployment Lead to steer the programme from planning through to go-live. You will coordinate key workstreams, align internal and external partners, and make sure every technical, operational and governance component lands on time, to budget and in line with regulatory and scientific standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end deployment of the RWE pilot, managing scope, timeline, risk and budget.
  • Coordinate several internal cross-functional workstreams including but not limited to – data infrastructure, app design & development, study design, operations, training, compliance and programme governance – keeping them aligned and unblocked.
  • Act as the single point of contact for internal stakeholders (product, partnerships, data, operations, clinical, legal) and external collaborators on all operational matters (sponsor, principal investigator, ethics bodies), resolving issues swiftly.
  • Track readiness of the case-report-form platform, protocol approvals and field-staff training, guaranteeing launch readiness.
  • Maintain an integrated programme tracker (e.g. Jira) with risks, issues and actions, and present concise progress updates to executive sponsors.
  • Collaborate with partner vendors to agree on deployment goals and feasibility parameters, ensuring technical and operational fit.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven track record delivering multi-disciplinary health-tech or clinical research-study deployments in regulated settings (NHS, MHRA, HRA or equivalent).
  • Hands-on coordination of matrixed teams and vendors, translating study protocols into operational reality.
  • Strong programme management, risk management and pragmatic problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, crisp communication and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to start June 2025, provide employment references and hold the right to work in the UK.

What we offer:

  • 25 days holiday + your birthday off as well as bank holidays
  • Mobile phone and other required tech
  • Company pension scheme
  • Training and development for your role and future career development
  • Service and Recognition awards
  • We Care our new employee benefits platform, which offers shopping discounts and cashback from over 800 retailers
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Great opportunity to earn extra income through overtime and our Care Friends referral scheme - up to £500 per referral!
  • Paid DBS/PVG
