The role is based in the Research Division but will support and interact with the Research, Development and Production Divisions. Formally reporting to the DNA construct team lead, the successful candidate will work across multiple projects, assisting with the supply of high-quality DNA, primarily for protein expression that contribute to the innovation and product development activities of the company. More specifically, the role will involve:

Molecular cloning, PCR and primer design Bacterial culturing DNA extraction via bespoke methods, supplied kits or liquid handling robot DNA sequencing and constructs validation. Working and communicating effectively with other groups, primarily in Research and Development.

What We Are Looking For…..

BSc or MSc or equivalent experience in chemistry, biochemistry, or related subject. Direct laboratory experience in a similar role is preferable. Strong attention to detail and good problem solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a high level of organisation. A strong desire to learn and build on the role.
