You will be responsible for:

Laboratory duties including preparing test specimens and evaluating mechanical properties of composite materials. Occasional formulation of resins and performing a range of thermal analysis and microscopy.

Developing expertise and a level of background understanding on technically relevant methodologies.

Participating in new product development projects.

Planning the technical aspects of the work with guidance from their supervisor and to provide technical observations, interpretation of results and to provide and execute experimental ideas based on technical inferences

Qualifications:

Educated in a technical subject, preferably in engineering, materials, or polymer science.

Have practical experience in an engineering, polymer, materials science, or process development environment would be an advantage. Preferably have practical experience of working in a laboratory. 

Keen eye for detail and practically minded.

Able to demonstrate a proactive and methodical approach to work.
