The Role

I am looking for an experienced and driven Quality Manager to join our growing team. You’ll play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our internal Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and supporting project teams in delivering exceptional quality across all phases. You will work closely with project teams, senior management and the wider HSEQ department to uphold best-in-class standards across our operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain and improve the internal Quality Management Systems.
  • Define and agree Quality Procedures to be implemented in consultation with relevant Directors and Heads of Departments.
  • Ensure companies operational processes and procedures meet HSEQ Standard requirements and are fully suitable and compatible with the needs of the business.
  • Manage and develop HSEQ systems updates in accordance with relevant standards (including ISO 9001, 45001, 14001).
  • Control and update HSEQ Management System documents and records.
  • Assist in maintaining other company Certifications and Memberships.
  • Manage and maintain the companies HSEQ internal audit schedules.
  • Carry out internal quality audits across the Group Offices and Regions.
  • Undertake internal site HSEQ audits and provide project support during any client audits.
  • Support the Project Teams in the preparation of Project Quality Plans.
  • Report any non-conformances to relevant Director(s) and Senior Management.
  • Investigate non-conforming incidents, produce suitable reports and help identify and implement remedial and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on the quality performance of the IMS, and any corrective actions, to the Senior Management Teams for review and as a basis for improvement.
  • Advise on and create methods for quality awareness training for all staff and carry out or implement this training.
  • Collate relevant reports and information for Management Reviews.
  • Implement a quality culture across the businesses.
  • Ensure Quality matters maintain a high profile within all levels of the company and promote quality achievement and performance improvement.
  • Sets Quality Objectives, Targets and plans to achieve these in coordination with each operating company’s SMT.
  • Advise on the application and maintenance of our Company Quality Policy and Procedures.
  • Assist Pre-Construction / Sales & Marketing Departments in the completion of PQQs in relation to Quality matters.
  • Organise and manage the quality function in close co-operation with the Company's HSEQ Department.
  • Work alongside other members of the HSEQ Management Team to ensure the effective delivery of H&S, Environmental and Quality performance.
  • Work effectively with all departments to continually improve all systems.
  • Represent the organisation at meetings, conferences, and workshops, where required.
  • Identify actual and potential sources of customer complaints and process failures.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge in quality and standards as they apply and affect the company.


What We’re Looking For/ Essential:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Manager or Senior Quality role within construction or M&E.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and internal auditing practices.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
