Quality Control Analyst – Chemical ManufacturingLocation: Newmarket, SuffolkApplication Deadline: 28 February 2025Department: QualityEmployment Type: Full Time | OnsiteRole OverviewSeeking a Quality Control (QC) Analyst to ensure chemical products meet quality standards through analytical testing and compliance. Responsibilities include conducting chemical analyses, maintaining records, troubleshooting quality issues, and supporting product development.Key Responsibilities * Perform tests such as GC, HPLC, FTIR, KF, and titrations on raw materials and finished products. * Maintain accurate documentation of test results and observations. * Collaborate with QC Lead, production teams, and researchers. * Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. * Contribute to method development and process improvements.RequirementsMinimum: Degree in Organic or Analytical Chemistry (or equivalent experience).Experience with GC, HPLC, FTIR, KF, and titrations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).Preferred: 1-2 years in QC within fine chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing.Benefits * Competitive salary + bonus scheme * 7% employer pension contribution * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Life insurance (4x salary) * Employee assistance programs * Free parking
